Isn't She Lovely.....

Well, I'm sure these pictures say it all!

My daughter got into my makeup, like most daughters do, thank goodness it wasn't my "good" makeup. But I was just speechless. She was so proud of how pretty she made herself. Not only make up but my face cream too. So she had a mess going!

PLEASE HELP!!! S.O.S

Last week I was reading the blogs I follow and I ran across one that lead me to a new favorite. It was about the mom who was going to live on a $1200/yr budget. I have went through all the blogs and I can't find her. I thought I followed her, but I guess I was too wrapped up in her blog I forgot! So if she was on your blog let me, know I need an update! I've search engined her and nothing, I went through old posts of everyones and it's like she disappeared. Last time I read she was at 700 into her budget. Thank you all so much.

Happy Friday!

I got to know Stacy thru another one of her blogs she co wrote Olivia and Logan. Words just can't explain this blog. Never before had I been swept away in words for hours. I kid you not I went back 2 years! Read each one. Cried along the way. Beautifully done really. It's one you won't get tift at the music just playing. I urge my readers to read them both.

If you would like to join in, all you do is first, please sign Mr. Linky below, grab a badge write a short description about one of your followers and link back to my blog. It's that simple!

Trashy Thursdays

For the month of March I said I would implement, as much as I could, about Earth friendly behavior into the kids school lessons. This is in honor of Earth Hour this month, which is the 28th at 8:30pm your local time. I know we should do this year round, but I guess somethings are better than nothing.

One of the things I wanted to do, was collect all the trash for the month to show how much an average family of 6 disposes of into the earth. So the kids can visually see their effect. It's gotta go somewhere. So I am designating my Thursday blogs to being Trashy Thursdays. A sort of update on the trash one family would dispose of.

I decided to put the trash in the not-yet-finished playhouse. Since no animal can get in and most of the roof is almost completed.

There are things in our pile that could be recycled, but I wanted the kids to see exactly how much we consume every month. Then recycle later, when the month is almost ending. We are however, still going to recycle what we find on our roads out here. That doesn't go with our stuff.
