Mother’s Cookies!! Got Your Attention Huh!

Ooooooo. Yes, Yes, Yes.........  And Ooh Baby!  Just seeing that bag takes me back.

Now, we know when we were growing up things were a lot different.  Our house didn't have the snack foods we have today in our cupboards.  Nope.  Mom went shopping and bought the necessities.  Once in a long while......if we were good......we got a lil sumthin' sumthin'.  And one of our most favorite of favorites were the Mother's® Cookies.  Mmmmm. 

We'd buy the Mother's® Cookies bag that had everything in it.  The plain cookies, the chocolate stuffed, the chocolate chips...but the one that always seemed to disappear first were the Circus Animal®!

Things were so much simpler back then.  All you needed was a few friends, a kick ball and a good cookie and your summer was made.

So here's the thing, Mother's® Cookies have been around for ever! Well since 1914, pretty long.  Sadly, in 2008 they closed....  But they are back with a BANG! And making their wayto new markets in Kansas and the mid-west! 

With all their awesomely  delicious cookies, Circus Animal®, Chocolate Chip, Coconut Cocadas®, Double Fudge, English Tea®, Iced Lemonade™, Iced Oatmeal, Iced Oatmeal, Macaroons, Oatmeal, Taffy®, Vanilla Crèmes, there really is something for everyone!!

I had wanted to take some pictures (seems like my theme song lately) of the kids and us enjoying the cookies poolside.......  But before I knew it they were gone!!  That's how it is with these.  I'm telling you!
