First off, Daddy is a good Daddy. But Dads aren't always "aware" like us Moms are. We know somethings gonna happen before it happens. We're always 3 steps in the future. We can see a potential hazards and do something before anything bad happens. Right...
Well, you would think my voice would be in his head saying "hmm, honey not such a good idea." But, you put 4 guys together and no matter the age, dumb shit happens.... Like sliding off the rock mountains into the lake. There's a big sign saying "DANGER" .... But boys will be boys, and dumb.
It also has a sign saying to wear shoes because of hooks..... but boys will be boys, and lazy.
But 2 near drownings and one hook in the foot later, all are safe at home sleeping and burnt....because Daddy also forgot the sunscreen.

Yes, so true all are fine and alive. .. And I had a fabulous day with my little girl. We shopped, slept in and didn't have to clean pee off the toilet LOL. It was nice!
And now you get to deal with the hook in foot cleanup ('cause that bitch could get infested) and you have to listen to the whining...although, if your hubby is like mine, he'll be whining the loudest.
Well, there all back in one piece, that's the most important thing...
I think my kiddies have the funnest time with daddy - even though he is so scatterbrained at times!! :) Following you back !

LOL cute post. My son is still only 6 months, but every time I leave him with his daddy, the house is left a mess and he has a wet diaper after 6 hours of work.. sigh! I agree, boys will be boys!

I so love this post! It is so the truth too! My 6 yr old always says, "Mommies know everything. Even what Daddy's do."
My 11 month old took his first "alone" trip with his Daddy on the boat the other day. I think I reminded him of all the safety issues 3536 times before he went (even though we've been through him taking a young child out before with our first). Yet I still managed to know that he did something he shouldn't have.
And I burned dinner that night because I was so impatiently waiting at the door to see my baby come home safely. :)
